Owner Information:
Parker-French Antiques is owned by Richard Bojko and John Mullen. We were dealers in Parker-French before purchasing the shop in 1998.
Shop Description:
Parker-French is a group shop with more than 100 dealers. Thanks to our diverse dealer base, our merchandise ranges from folk art & primitives to silver & jewelry to toys & military to Kitsch & collectibles.
History:
Parker-French is Antique Alley’s founding shop. In the mid-1970s, Murial and Sumner Parker opened a small seasonal ice-cream & souvenir shop on Route 4. Shortly after opening, they added a few small tables to sell their antiques. As antiques sales took off, other dealers asked if they could have tables and by 1976, the Parkers left the ice cream behind and became Parker’s Antiques, the first group antiques shop in New Hampshire.
In 1988, Caroline French and her husband, Gordon Millar, bought the shop and changed the name to Parker-French Antique Center. In 1998, current owners Richard Bojko and John Mullen, who were dealers in Parker-French at the time, bought the shop.
